Meet The Team

CHRIS JEFFRIES

Owner

Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Central Missouri. He initially started in commercial construction and quickly realized a passion for residential home building. Chris started his own home building business almost 15 years ago. His innovative plan designs as well as his eye for detail have allowed him success across Missouri and Kansas. Chris has had the honor of winning multiple Parade of Homes awards. He and his team enjoy working closely with clients to make sure they receive the level of attention they deserve while building their new home. “We take great pride in working with our clients to make their new home experience a rewarding and pleasurable one.”

MELISSA JEFFRIES

Owner

Melissa is JFE’s exclusive designer that helps work with each of our clients through the Selection Process. Melissa has been designing and furnishing models for 15 years. She has a great passion for home furnishing and architecture. Melissa provides the customer with insight into color coordination, trends and style while working through the home building process. Clients have the opportunity to meet with Melissa helping coordinate and providing design ideas to personalize their new home.

KIP BROWN

Architect & Project Manager

Kip Brown graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Kansas. Kip is a recognized architect and has worked on many large-scale projects throughout Kansas City that we all enjoy including The Legends at Village West, Zona Rosa and other major retail and residential developments. Kip brings extreme value to the JFE Team. Having the ability for our clients to meet with an in-house architect and to design their home to fit their life style is just one of many personal touches the JFE Team provides.

Our Process

Services

We involve our clients in the design-build process to the extent they desire. Throughout this process we listen to and promptly address our clients needs, and provide regular progress and budget updates.

Substainability

We take a common sense approach to sustainability. We believe sustainability starts with efficient use of space, quality construction, efficient mechanical services, and practical application of sustainable materials. JFE custom homes are constructed to Energy Star standards. This translates into substantially higher energy efficiency as compared to standard homes.

Each of our homes defines the legacy of JFE Construction, therefore, we have a vested interest to insure they are built to last. With over 50 combined years in the home building industry our JFE team is on-site daily to insure quality of process and material.
